Bodegas Hika White Txakoli DO Getariako Txakolina Basque Country 2022
Bodegas HIKA are based in the Getariko Txakolina, the easternmost wine region of the Basque Country. Bodegas HIKA work with a minimum intervention approach to their land and winemaking, working only with the indigenous yeasts of the grapes, believing this to give the best expression of the terroir, showing the minerality of the txakoli wines, but also having the best environmental impact.
This white Txakoli is fresh and bright, with a clean lemon appearance and fresh citrus notes on the nose with hints of herbaceous characters. The wine spends 10 months on lees after fermentation with indigenous yeasts, allowing the wine to express its natural terroir and having a more rounded mouthfeel. The palate has the classic light spritz to accompany the fresh acidity and notes of citrus and white fruit with a lovely clean mineral finish, a true expression of the Atlantic.
Hondarrabi Zuria 90% / Hondarrabi Zerratia 5% / Chardonnay 5%.

Delivery
We deliver nationwide and offer a quick and convenient service.
How much does it cost?
Local delivery is free of charge within 35 miles of Nailsworth when ordering 12 full-size wines or more.
Nationwide delivery is charged at £12.95 per case of 12 full-size wines.
Vinotopia Wine Club members receive a monthly free nationwide delivery as part of their membership.
Please note that for remote parts of the country, such as 'highlands and islands' the delivery may take a couple days longer and may cost more than £12.95 per case. Please get in touch for a quote
How long does it take?
Typically two or three days. But experience warns us not to promise that this will always happen, so if you need something by a certain date, give us a ring, and we will do our best to ensure it happens.
What time will it arrive?
Usually deliveries take place between 8am to 7pm, Monday to Friday.
Do I need to be at the delivery address when my wine arrives?
Not if you have told us that your wine can be left somewhere for you. Make sure you leave clear instructions when you place your order - there is an opportunity to do this when you pay. Alternatively, the driver will leave a card with a telephone number for you to ring to rearrange delivery another time, following which you must do so within 3 days or the wine will come back to us.
Finally...
When you’ve got hold of your wine, do inspect it as soon as possible. In the extremely unlikely event that something is broken or missing, let us know straight away so that we can sort it out for you.
